🔎 Required Experience

  • 1–2 years of helpdesk or technical support experience.
  • Ability to work with senior team members to resolve issues.

🛠 Basic Helpdesk Qualifications

1. Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of Windows OS (installation and troubleshooting).
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware (RAM, HDD/SSD, power supply, motherboard).
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting printers (USB and network).

2. Network Fundamentals

  • Ability to check network connectivity (e.g., ping tests).
  • Handling network cables including RJ45 termination, cable testing, and fixing basic physical network issues.

3. Software Support

  • Installing and configuring software applications.
  • Troubleshooting common software problems (Office, browsers, email).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Outlook setup.
  • Handling basic antivirus and security tools.

4. Additional Skills

  • Proper documentation of issues and resolutions.
  • Good communication with end-users.
  • Ability to follow IT procedures and escalation steps.
